Tanya Burr Cosmetics Review

Hey Everyone!

For a while now I’ve been building my collection of the Tanya Burr Cosmetics line and I thought I would do a bit of a review on the products I’ve got so far!

This is my collection so far, I have one cheek palette the Rosy Flush one, three eyeshadow palettes; Birthday Suit, Hollywood and Enchanted Dreams and I have two of the matte lip glosses, Martha Moo and Rhubarb and Custard! I would say that these products are good, especially for the price but they’re not the best I’ve used! This is probably because I usually go for more high end products!

Rhubarb and Custard £5.99

I have to admit I haven’t worn this colour yet, it is a lot brighter than I anticipated but it is still a really lovely colour! I would describe it as a slightly muted Barbie pink! I think it would work on a lot of skin tones as it’s such a fun colour!

Martha Moo £5.99

This is a really stunning colour! It’s so wearable and dries to a lovely matte finish, my only issue is that they feel sticky on your lips when you’ve had them on for a while and begin to go chunky which is really undesirable! I would recommend taking it off and reapplying every few hours, but that’s a lot of hassle!

These are really long wearing products and can actually be kind of difficult to remove, especially with water! Overall, I do like these products and I’m excited to see what other colours she has in them!

Rosy Flush £8.00

This comes with a bronzer, blush and highlight shade, so it is great for travelling!

I really do like this product! All of the shades are very wearable and they apply easily! I would say the highlight shade can be really strong as it is white so be careful when you apply it!

Hollywood Eye Palette £5.99

This was my palette of the month for June, click here to read the review and click here to see the look I created!

Most of the shades have a good pigmentation, you can see that the second shade (Gold Coin) has the worst pigmentation of them all but that is to be expected with pale gold toned shadows! I would also mention that the fourth shade (Bookworm) was a little chalky when I swatched it and there was a lot of excess when I applied it!

Enchanted Dream £5.99

As you can see the pigmentation in these shades is a lot better than the Hollywood Palette, they all applied very easily but as with the Hollywood palette the darkest shade (Magic Carpet) was a little chalky and patchy when applied!

Birthday Suit £5.99

Again these shades are much more pigmented, I really love the third shade (Cocoa Sugar) it is beautiful when applied alone or with the other shadows! I found that in this palette the fourth shade (Soft Truffle) was a lot creamier when I was applying it but there was still a lot of excess powder!

Overall, I would really recommend the Tanya Burr Cosmetic range as the are good quality products and they are so cheap! I can’t wait to see what the rest of her products are like as I will definitely be buying more!

Have you tried out any of her products? If so what do you recommend?

Hope to see you around,

  1. I had the matte liquid lipstick in Rhubarb and Custard. It was easy to apply with the soft applicator and its scent was amazing. It was still a little bit sticky after drying, which I personally didn’t like. Unfortunately the colour didn’t look good with my very fair skin tone, it was much more brighter than I had expected, so I gave it to a friend.. :/
