Flawless Base Makeup

Hey Everyone!

Like a lot of people, I have a collection of tried and true products that I know give me good coverage and are long lasting! I usually like a more natural look, like in my Summertime Base Makeup! But occasionally I like a fuller coverage and this is how I achieve it!

To prep I used Benefit Porefessional and then to brighten my skin I used MAC Prep and Prime in the shade Light Boost. If you wanted a dewy look you could also used an illuminator at this step!

I buffed NARS Sheer Glow into my skin, in the shade Punjab. This is a medium to full coverage, which I prefer, for a full review click here. I then used NARS Creamy Concealer in the shade Vanilla for extra coverage and to help brighten my face. To read my review, click here. To set my concealer I used Make Up Forever HD Powder and then to set my foundation I used MAC Mineralised Skinfinish Natural in Light.

I really like how this gives me good coverage without looking cakey!

To add definition to my face I begin by contouring using Benefit Hoola, I like to go over this with a bronzer such as Barry M Afterglow Light Bronzer as it helps to blend out the contour. To highlight I went with MAC Mineralised Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, I really love the golden glow this gives! For blush I went with NARS Orgasm as it has a lovely shimmer and then to intensify the pink tones I went over this with MAC Prolongwear Blush in the shade Stay Pretty. I really like how these compliment each other without being overpowering.

The last step of my base is always a good setting spray! It really helps to set all the excess powder and helps to make the makeup more long lasting! I opted for Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray!

This base is a really good starting point for so many different looks!

Hope to see you around,
