Product of the Month: Lush Lip Scrub

I thought for todays post I’d give a shoutout to the unsung hero of my makeup bag, my Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub. I literally use this scrub all the time! It helps to exfoliate your lips without leaving then sore or dry and it’s all natural ingredients so it doesn’t matter too much if you “accidentally” lick your lips and eat it!

 

 

This scrub comes in four, soon to be three flavours/scents. Mint Julips, Popcorn, Bubblegum and Honey! They all smell amazing and work just as well! I’m really so impressed with these little scrubs and Lush is such a great company as well that you can basically count shopping there as your good deed for the day!

I like to use the scrub if my lips  are super dry and I’ll usually put it on before I apply my makeup. I apply a small amount using a Q-Tip and massage it into my lips before wiping it away with a tissue. I then apply a moisturising lip balm and go about the rest of my makeup! When it’s time for the lips I make sure to wipe off the balm, I usually pounce my beauty blender over the lips before going in with my chosen lip products! This scrub honestly makes such a difference especially if you’re applying a matte liquid lipstick!
