Hey Everyone,
There is nothing I love more that a grungey smokey eye! And the fact they look even better when they are messy makes it perfect for beginners! For this look I used mainly all shades from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette.
TOP TIP: For the best finish use a different (blending) brush for each colour, this enables you to use the previous brush to blend out the darker shades!
After priming my lids using Urban Decay Primer Potion I blended the shade Burnt Orange through the crease, this is the transition shade so I blended it a little higher than the rest of the shades. I then went into Realgar and used this to deepen up the crease. I applied this shaded a few times as I wanted the orange colour to be strong!
To begin to darken the crease I used Cayenne (Urban Decay Naked Heat) but this colour wasn’t as dark as I wanted so I went back into Cyprus Umber and blended this on the outer third of the lid. I used a small amount of Realgar to blend this out. To further deepen the outer V I used a little Black Truffle (Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Rose Gold Edition) on a pencil brush, again using the previous brush and previous shade to blend away any harsh edges.
To finish the lid I used my concealer and a small smudger brush to carve out a semi-cut crease. I then applied Trust Fund (Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Rose Gold Edition) to add a metallic pop, to make the lid a little more special I used my Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Disturbed and dabbed this over the lid! I would really recommend doing this in stages and allowing the liner to dry in between steps (if you’ve hooded eyes it’s best to keep your eyes closed so the glitter won’t transfer) alternatively, you could use a loose glitter for this step.
For the lower lash line I used Realgar along the whole lash line and then used Cyprus Umber along the outer third. I used a small angled brush to press some Black Truffle tight along the lower lash line. I then used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Water Proof Eye Liner in Legend to line both lower and upper waterlines, before applying a little black liner to the top lid.
To finish the eyes I used Moon Dust (Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Rose Gold Edition) to highlight the inner corner and Vermeer to highlight the browbone. I then applied some mascara to top and bottom lashes, before applying some Ardell Demi-Wispies.

For the lip colour I used Kylie Cosmetics Exposed Liner and Kylie Cosmetics Maliboo Matte Liquid Lipstick.
