BLOGMAS 09: Wonderland FIRST impression

Hey Everyone,

Wonderland reached out to me to see if I was interested in trying out a few of their products – and of course I said yes! They very kindly sent me out and eyeshadow, their primer and a nail polish to try and this is my first impression of the products!

Wonderland is a cruelty free brand, they state that they are high end makeup at an affordable price! Their products are made in the UK and they seem like an all round fab brand!

Wonderland Studio Finish Primer

This is your typical silky primer, this is the type I usually prefer to use as they create a nice base for your foundation and I found that this one was no different! I used in in by BLOGMAS 06 post and I found it really helped make go on so smoothly!

Create the perfect canvas for under makeup, help increase longevity of makeup and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!

It helps smooth out the skin and makeup does sit nicely on top, I only had the makeup on for a few hours so I can speak much of the longevity but my makeup was sitting perfectly when I came home too! Being 23 fine lines and wrinkles aren’t something I worry about too much so I can’t really say if this primer helped them! Overall I did really like this primer and I’m definitely going to be using it again!

Wonderland Eyeshadow – Doll

This eyeshadow is a lovely baby pink tone with a satin finish so it has a little bit of a shine, to me it’s almost a duochrome as it reflects gold back to you! I’ve used this a few times and it’s a lovely colour! They have over 30 different shades to choose from!

Highly pigmented, velvety smooth, creaseless eyeshadow. Creates an even texture that immediately adheres to the eyelids and is long lasting!

For being such a pale shade the pigmentation was really good! I find that it applies really evenly with your finger and a brush (obviously it’s more pigmented with your fingers) overall it’s a really good eyeshadow!

Wonderland Nail Polish – Snow White

This is a pure white nail polish, it’s a generous sized bottle with a nice brush so it’s easy to get good application! They have over 50 shades to choose from so plenty of choice out there!

It is a long wearing, long lasting protective nail polish with a long lasting shine. It is hard wearing and each coat offers an even and lacquered results.

I’m not the biggest fan of regular nail polish, I usually go for acrylics or gel polish instead so I had to remind myself that this was obviously very different! I found this shade was fully opaque after about 3 coats, and although all white nails isn’t a look I’ll go for any time soon this will be great for going nail art or French tips!

I do really like this brand and I’m impressed by the products I’ve tried so far! The packaging is lovely and sleek and with the brand being cruelty free it’s even better! I’m excited to see what else they have on offer, especially their glitter and pigments as we all know I love a little sparkle!
