The Perfect HALO EYE for Every Occasion

Hey Everyone,

Today I thought I’d share another one of my go-to looks with you, this time it’s my favourite Halo Eye. I find this to be a super flattering look and perfect for just about every occasion. For this look I used shades from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.

You can find a tutorial of this look on my youtube channel, find it here.

To begin I primed the lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in the shade Vanilla, I set this in place using some translucent powder before starting the eyes. To start defining the crease I used the shade Salted Caramel on a blending brush and applied a few layers of this shade to build up the intensity. I then went into the shade Milk Chocolate on a more defined fluffy brush and packed this on the outer third and inner third of the lid, I also blended this shade through the crease to bridge the two ends. Then use the previous brush, with no additional product to blend the edges. To add extra depth and smokiness to the look I used the shade Semi-Sweet on a clean blending brush and focussed this on the outer and inner portion of the lid, again blending though the crease as well.

Now for some shine….

To add some interest to the lid I took one of the ColourPop SuperShock Shadows in Birthday Girl and patted this on the centre of my lid, taking a small brush to blend away harsh edges. I then took a little bit of MAC Reflects Gold Glitter and applied this on top and I applied a little of this glitter to the inner corner as well.

I then lined my waterline using the Sephora Collection Matte Black Waterproof Eye Pencil, and went back into the first brush and the shade, Salted Caramel and blended this along the lower lash line. Then on a pencil brush I went into Milk Chocolate and blended this along the lower lash line as well. On a fine angled brush I pressed a little black eyeshadow along my lower lash line to intensify the look. I created winged liner using my Kat Von D Ink Jet Liner in the shade Trooper, before applying some Benefit Roller Lash to top and bottom lashes and then I applied Eylure 117 lashes to finish.

Lips are Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner in Pillow Talk, Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Child Star and Max Factor Gloss in Lustrous Sands.

Love,
