Valentines/Romantic Soft Glam

This is a look I created a while ago but I’m pulling it out again as I think it’s the perfect romantic glam look for Valentines Day! This is actually a really easy look to create as it only takes three shadows and some blending – I’ve chosen pink tones from the Urban Decay Cherry Palette but you could easily recreate this look with any shades (1 medium matte, 1 dark matte, and 1 shimmer shade).

To start with I primed my lids with the P.Louise Base in 0.5 and then went in with Bing from the Urban Decay Cherry Palette and then deepened this in the outer V with the shade Devilish for a little more definition. Then for a little sparkle, I used the shade, Young Love. I love how this looked as the shimmer wasn’t super light so it was like a transition from matte to shimmer of the same colour! To line the lid and make my lashes look thicker I took a little black powder and ran this through the lashline.

At this stage, I went on to my base makeup, I used the Bare Minerals Good Hydrations Primer first then the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and the Bare Minerals Bare Skin Concealer for the under eyes. I used the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Light to set both the under eyes and foundation. For bronzer, I used my Rimmel Natual Bronzer and then for my highlight, blush and contour I used the Tarte Clay Play Eye and Cheek Palette. I also used this highlighter for my browbone and inner corner.

Then to finish the eyes I tight-lined using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterline Pencil in Legend and then smudged this alone my lower lash line using the shade Bing. I have lash extensions so I only needed mascara on my bottom lashes and for that, I used MAC Extended Play Mascara! Finally I filled in my brows using the Soap and Glory 2-in-1 Brow Archery in Hot Chocolate and the NYX Brow Gel in Brunette. For lips, I used my Bare Minerals Under Over Lipliner in Borderline and the Tarte Lip Sculptor in Kind.
